Zamalek technical staff omitted towering striker Mido from their provisional squad for Tuesday's league match with Ismaili due to injury. The White Knights' official website mentioned that the 26-year-old sustained a left thigh injury, and he would undergo a recovery program. Mido is expected to reach full recovery after one week. Well-built hitman Sayed Mosaad and midfielder Alaa Ali were both excluded for technical reasons. Playmaker Shikabala has made the squad for the first time since shaking off his groin injury. The 23-year-old was injured in Zamalek's 2-2 draw with Arab Contractors last month. Zamalek's squad: Goalkeepers: Mohamed Abdul-Monsef – Abdul Wahed Al-Sayed.
