Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will be sidelined again after sustaining a thigh injury on his return to action on Sunday. The Dutch ace, who has just overcome a major knee injury, came on as a substitute in Los Merengues' 5-0 Primera Liga win over Xerez at Santiago Bernabeu, to notch the final goal. However, the Jinxed marksman marred his comeback after suffering a thigh problem that will probably keep him out of action for another month. Van Nistelrooy faced around 10 months on the sidelines till he was declared fit of late. The full extent of his new injury should be determined soon. "I got hurt while scoring. I dreamed of this return. I will have an MRI (scan) and hope it isn't anything serious," The 33-year-old told the club's official website. "I worked very hard to return and everything has gone well. Let's see how my quad is holding up. We aren't happy with the way we played, but it was a good match. We can improve a lot."
