Zamalek have signed Egypt's U-20 striker Ahmed Fathi 'Bougi' from second-division side Qanah on a five-year deal, the Cairo club announced on Thursday. "The deal has been finalized," Zamalek spokesman Sabri Serag told Al-Hayat TV. The White Knights will pay EGP 3 million for Qanah to land the highly-rated frontman. He is the second player to join from Qanah this summer following the arrival of Sayed Mosaad, who made his competitive debut in Zamalek's 3-1 victory over ENPPI in the league opener. "Zamalek's serious approach convinced me to accept their offer," Bougi, who was also a reported target for Egyptian champions Ahli, told FilGoal.com. The combative striker, who is tipped to become a 'new Amr Zaki', will be registered in Zamalek's youth ranks. He is set to take part in the FIFA U-20 World Cup that will take place on home soil in September.
