Algeria registered a 1-0 friendly victory over Uruguay in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers next month. The Desert Foxes, who compete with Egypt, Zambia and Rwanda in the qualifiers Group C, downed the South American giants with a goal from Rafik Djebbour. Djebbour, who scored against Egypt in the 3-1 win in June, hit the winner on 79 minutes to help Algeria continue their impressive run of results this year. Agogo scores for Black Stars Former Zamalek striker Junior Agogo restored the two-goal cushion for Ghana from the spot as Haminu Dramani rounded off the victory in the second half.
