Amir Azmi said he has signed with Diyarbakirspor to join compatriot Ayman Abdul-Aziz to the Turkish Super Lig side. "I signed a contract with Diyarbakir after a successful trial," the 26-year-old defender told FilGoal.com. Azmi has also revealed that Abdul-Aziz, who is on loan from Zamalek, recommended him for manager Ziya Dogan. Former Egypt international Azmi moved back to Zamalek in pre-season, but then terminated his contract after falling out with coach Michel Decastel. Azmi is set for his second Turkish league spell, following a short stint with Hacettepe Spor last season.
