Video: Fab-ulous Brazil win Confederations Cup
Published in FilGoal on 28 - 06 - 2009

Brazil came back from two goals down to beat USA 3-2 and retain the FIFA Confederations Cup title in South Africa.
Captain Lucio hit the winning goal in the 84th minute after Luis Fabiano had inspired Brazil with a second-half brace, while Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan scored for USA.
The mighty Samba Dancers won a record third title as Fabiano clinched the Golden Shoe after making it five goals in as many games.
Dunga named the same starting eleven who edged past South Africa, whereas USA only missed Michael Bradley, who was sent off against Spain, Benni Feilhaber deputized.
US on fire
Brazil looked the brighter side in the opening few minutes, courtesy of some menacing right-flank crosses from Maicon.
Against the run of play, the US struck on their very first attack, when Dempsey notched home a superb volley on ten minutes.
The Fulham forward applied the slightest of touches to Jonathan Spector's inviting cross scoring his third of the competition, amid slack marking from Brazil.
Shortly after, Tim Howard fully stretched to deny Robinho's swerving shot as Maicon kept the crosses flying, but no one was there to provide the finish and USA struck again on the counter.
Just like they were punished by Dunga's team in the group game, the US completed an astounding team move that was finished off in style by Donovan on 27 minutes.

US brave run ended
Deadly Comeback
Brazil made a perfect start to the second half as Fabiano fired home after just 40 seconds with a lethal finish following another Maicon cross.
The Sevilla hitman received the ball with his back to goal, but somehow managed to turn and sting with his left foot past Howard.
Howard denied a header from Lucio in the 58th minute and the Everton guardian was lucky to claim the save from another header by Kaka two minutes later.
Kaka's bouncing header clearly crossed the line after the US keeper blocked it, but the linesman kept his flag down.
Howard cleverly denied a through-on-goal Fabiano in the 71st minute, but couldn't stop the on-fire Brazil forward three minutes later.
Fabiano scored his fifth of the competition when he headed home from close range after Robinho's point-blank effort hit the crossbar.
Brazil kept the momentum going and Lucio saw his powerful header going in off the post this time, following a pacey corner from substitute Elano.
