Ahli medics are doing their utmost so defender Shadi Mohamed can catch the team's CAF Champions League game last 16 round second-leg against Kano Pillars on Saturday. The Egyptian international took part in his team's training on Wednesday, after a groin injury kept him out of the game for over two weeks. The injury forced the 32-year-old to sit out Ahli's crucial encounters against Pillars in the first leg and against Zamalek and ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League. After drawing with Pillars 1-1 in Nigeria, any win or a goalless draw shall be enough for the Ahli to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals.
