Ahli will be without Mohamed Barakat and Ahmed Hassan when they face Nigeria's Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League on Saturday. The midfield duo, who missed Monday's draw in Mahalla with respective injuries, pulled out of the squad which is due to travel to Nigeria on Wednesday. Barakat is nursing a hamstring injury, whereas Egypt captain Hassan is still suffering from an ankle problem sustained in last month's World Cup qualifier with Zambia. Striker Osama Hosni has also been excluded with a hamstring injury, but out-of-favor Ahmed Hassan Farag made the list.
