The Cairo derby between Ahli and Zamalek has been postponed to April 23rd, the Egyptian FA announced on Saturday. "The match was delayed due to Ahli's African commitments," Nayef Ezzat, head of the Egyptian FA competitions' committee, told FilGoal.com. Ahli visit Tanzania's Young Africans on April fifth in the second-leg of the Champions League round of 32. The Red Devils were due to face arch-rivals Zamalek in the same day in the Egyptian Premier League. The Cairo duo met four times this season in the Egyptian Super Cup, the Champions League and the Egyptian league. Ahli won three matches and drew once as Zamalek, who last defeated the six-time African champions in May 2007, failed to end their derby jinx.
