Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Aboul-Ella is doubtful for his side's Egyptian Premier League clash against Gaish due to an ankle injury. Aboul-Ella sustained the problem after colliding with teammate Ahmed Magdi in Thursday's training session. "The player is undergoing an intensive treatment so that he can play against Gaish," Zamalek doctor Mostafa Al-Monayeri told the club's official website. Aboul-Ella, who came through the Cairo giants' youth ranks, has lost his regular first-team place this season due to a string of injuries and below-par displays. But he could be included in the starting line-up for Saturday's match against Gaish if he shrugged off his injury in time as defensive midfielder Hani Saied will miss out through suspension. Zamalek, who are enduring one of their worst runs in the league, lie ninth in the 16-team table on 27 points, seven above the relegation zone.
