Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki believes his compatriot Mido will be a valuable addition to the Latics' squad. Mido joined Wigan from Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season to link up with his fellow countryman Zaki. "I'm very happy that Mido has joined Wigan," Zaki told his official website on Friday. "Mido's vast experience in the Premiership as well as his great physical and technical abilities will help Wigan in the second half of the season." The Egyptian duo will be hoping to forge a successful partnership in Wigan's frontline. The departure of Emile Heskey to Aston Villa is likely to give a chance to Mido to play on a regular basis. Mido scored four goals for Middlesbrough while Zaki's stunning impact in his first Premiership season saw him notch 10 goals to lie third in the scorers' chart.
