Ittihad are close to completing the signing of Awuley Quaye 'Junior' on a one-and-a-half season deal starting January, the costal club announced on Tuesday. Over the last few days, the playmaker held negotiations with the club's officials over the transfer fee. Now the Ghanaian player is set to join the Alexandria-based side for $ 220,000. "Junior wanted $ 230,000, while our initial bid was $ 210,000," Ittihad chairman Mohamed Moselhi told FilGoal.com. "Eventually, we managed to reach an agreement." Agent Mounir Hassan also confirmed the deal completion, saying the player is putting his signature to the contract on Wednesday.
