Ismaili right-back Islam Taher rejoined Tersana after failing to hold down a regular first-team place at the Dervishes. Taher opted to pen a short-term deal with struggling side Tersana as he eyes a bigger move in the summer. "I penned a six-month contract with Tersana because I want to be free in the summer to consider other possibilities," he told FilGoal.com on Saturday. "I learned that Zamalek wanted to sign me, so they might renew their interest after the end of the season." The 25-year-old joined Ismaili from Tersana in the summer of 2007 but failed to prove his worth. He was third in the pecking order behind Abdullah Al-Shahat and Ahmed Al-Gamal. "I had no choice but to leave Ismaili to play on a regular basis." Taher is Tersana's fourth signing in January following the acquisition of Tarek Al-Sayed, Youssef Hamdi and Amr Samaka The Hammers are looking to reinforce their squad after a dismal run of results saw them slip to the bottom of the Egyptian Premier League on 12 points, four adrift of the safety zone.
