Arab Contractors striker Reda Al-Weeshi said Zamalek opened talks with him over a possible move in January. "I'm ready to join them once an official bid is tabled," Al-Weeshi told FilGoal.com on Sunday. "I prefer to depart Contractors if coach Mohamed Radwan continued to rely on other strikers upfront." The combative frontman joined Contractors in the summer after leaving Ahli due to lack of first-team opportunities. He was a regular starter in the early stages of the season, during which he notched four goals. However, Al-Weeshi suffered a dip in form afterwards and saw his place taken by Ehab Al-Masri, who partnered the in-form Rami Rabie. "I will not oppose Al-Weeshi's move to Zamalek if the player wants to move on," Contractors boss Radwan said. Zamalek are seeking to make the most out of the January transfer window by reinforcing their underachieving squad. The White Knights have one reliable striker in Junior Agogo as Mostafa Gaafar, Abdul-Halim Ali and Sherif Ashraf failed to impress.
