Al-Gaish coach Farouk Gaafar has re-launched negotiations with Zamalek board to acquire the services of striker Abdul-Halim Ali in January's transfer window. Gaafar said that he will contact Zamalek interim coach Ahmed Refaat about the possibility of luring the 35-year-old player. Ali seems all but on his way out of Zamalek, after the former international hit man failed to register any goals for the club since the start of the season. The striker's drop in form was met by public dismay from the Zamalek fans, who jeered off Ali on more than one occasion. Meanwhile, Gaish new signing Mohsen Hendawi has joined the team's training, in preparation to be registered among the club ranks in January. The 27-year-old right back has already signed a loan contract with Gaish from Ghazl Mahalla until the end of the current season.
