Wigan Athletic coach Steve Bruce rubbished rumors indicating that Amr Zaki could leave the JJB Stadium in January. Numerous reports suggested that several European giants, including the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid, are keeping tabs on the Egypt striker. But Bruce is adamant that Zaki would at least stay at the Latics until the end of the season. "It does become a bit repetitive and boring," the 47-year-old coach was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. "It is Chelsea this week, Real Madrid last week, Liverpool the week before, Man City before that. I think the whole thing needs to be addressed really. "He is ours for the rest of the season." Zaki took the Premiership by storm after joining Wigan from Zamalek on a season-long loan in the summer. He scored eight goals in his first 11 league games before being sidelined by a hamstring injury. "I know he has done well, but he's missed the last month (with injury) and he needs to make sure he starts playing and gets in our team - because that won't be easy for him either." "All of this nonsense around him, I do believe gets to him a little bit. But I can't stop this constant speculation about Zaki," Bruce added.
