Ahli captain Shadi Mohamed has been excluded by coach Manuel Jose from the team's upcoming game against Ghazl Mahalla on Thursday. It will be the first time in a while where Mohamed isn't included for an Ahli game despite not being injured or suspended. Jose's decision comes after Ahli's defense was heavily criticized for poor showing over the last two league games, where the Red Devils let in four goals and managed one point out of possible six. However, the Portuguese named attacker Hussein Yasser for the encounter, after the Qatar attacking midfielder was dropped from the 3-3 draw against ENPPI. Ahli's squad: Goalkeepers: Amir Abdul-Hamid, Ramzi Saleh. Defenders: Wael Gomaa, Ahmed Al-Sayed, Rami Adel, Mohamed Samir, Sayed Moawad, Gilberto, Ahmed Sedik. Midfielders: Ahmed Hassan, Hossam Ashour, Mohamed Barakat, Ahmed Fathi, Hussein Yasser. Strikers: Ahmed Belal, Mohamed Abou-Treika, Osama Hosni, Flavio Amado
