Amr Zaki will sit out Wigan Atheltic's Premiership clash with Everton on Monday due to a calf injury. The Premiership club's official website said that the Egyptian, who missed last week's draw at Newcastle, will also be rested for a further week. Apart from his nagging calf problem, Zaki is struggling with a rib injury suffered in the 0-0 draw with Stoke two weeks ago. The robust forward is currently top scorer for the Latics with eight Premiership goals, four less than Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka who is leading the goal scorers' chart.
