Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster showed his dismay at the team's lack of enthusiasm during the 2-0 win against BATE Barisov in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Two goals from Sergio Ramos and Ruud Van Nistelrooy handed Real the home win over the Byelorussians, but Schuster wasn't happy with his player's laid back performance. "It was dangerous when we sat back at some parts of the game, especially when we were 1-0 and saw our opponents were not reacting," Schuster was quoted as saying by Marca after the game. "In any other game we could have paid for that as any simple mistake could have cost us dear." When asked about why Real didn't win with a larger margin against newcomers BATE, Schuster responded that the players themselves didn't have the motive to score more goals. "That would be a good question to the players. I didn't rein or ask them to defend. Maybe we scored early but I wasn't happy with the team's reaction after the first goal," concluded the German.
