Mohamed Zidan's Hamburg reached the German Cup second round after coming from behind to earn a 3-1 victory over second division side FC Ingolstadt on Saturday. Ersin Demir put the hosts in front in the 33rd minute when he headed a right-wing cross past Hamburg keeper Frank Rost. Ivica Olic leveled the score six minutes after restart with a close-range effort. The Croatian striker netted again just two minutes later, lobbing over Ingolstadt keeper to put Hamburg in front. Peruvian striker Paulo Guerrero wrapped up the victory in stoppage time as Hamburg went through. Egyptian forward Zidan started on the bench but was introduced with five minutes remaining. Zidan, who put in fine displays in Hamburg's pre-season friendlies, was booked shortly after his introduction.
