Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri praised his side's 2-0 Egyptian Super Cup win over Zamalek as he believes that newcomers will further boost the team. Ahmed Hassan and Moataz Eno handed the Reds their second victory over their arch rivals after last week's Champions League win at Cairo Stadium. Nevertheless, the Egyptian champions already missed a handful of key players, including Mohamed Abou-Treika, Emad Meteb, Gilberto, Emad Al-Nahhas and Ahmed Fathi Apart from that, Ahli are yet to introduce new boys Hani Al-Egaizi, Hussein Yasser, Hussein Ali, in addition to Hassan Mostafa, who returned from loan. Boost "We played a good game and forced our own style, but I think that the team will be boosted by newcomers and players returning from injury," Al-Badri said after the game. "The game was tactically tough, but I think that we deserved our victory." Al-Badri disagreed with Zamalek coach Reiner Hollman's criticism to the performance of referee Fritz Stuchlik after the latter turned down a penalty for the Whites and disallowed Junior Agogo's goal. "I think Hollman should see the incidents again, there was no penalty and the goal was offside," added the Ahli second man.
