Bayern Munich forward Lukas Podolski is set to rebuff offers from top European clubs for the sake of re-joining FC Cologne this summer, according to German reports. Podolski starred for Germany in EURO 2008, drawing the attention of the likes of Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur. However, reports in Germany suggested that the 23-year-old is all the more likely to return to newly-promoted Cologne for an estimated €15M. Werder Bremen and Stuttgart are also among the parties interested, but Cologne is a 'club apart' in Poldi's eyes. Podolski struggled to find his form at Allianz Arena since signing from Cologne in 2006, but his displays with the National Mannschaft has usually been inspiring.
