Ibrahim Saied said on Thursday he is close to joining Ismaili after resolving his differences with the Egyptian League runners-up. "I've reached an agreement with Ismaili to join them on a three-year deal," Saied told FilGoal.com. "A few minor details need to be sorted out before completing the move." The deal was on the verge of collapsing after Ismaili denied that they were interested in signing Saied, although they opened talks with him regarding a possible move. The 28-year-old was furious with Ismaili's declaration, but the Dervishes retracted their comments afterwards. Saied, who failed in his attempts to return to either Ahli or Zamalek, said he is looking forward to the new challenge. "I want to emulate my success with Ahli and Zamalek when I play for Ismaili," he said. The versatile defender left Turkish club Ankaragucu after being involved in a row with the club over his bonuses. He sought to return to either Ahli or Zamalek, but the Cairo duo were not interested in having him back. Saied's bad boy image hampered his progress with both clubs in the early 2000s.
