Ittihad continued rebuilding their squad for next season after signing right-back Ahmed Hossam on a free transfer on Saturday. "Hossam has penned a two-year deal with Ittihad," the club's president Mohamed Moselhi told FilGoal.com. The 27-year-old defender was released by Zamalek last month after failing to prove his worth with the Egyptian Cup winners. Ittihad have recently signed two other full-backs in former Ahli man Ahmed Adel and Telecom Egypt's Adel Fathi. The Alexandria-based club are also tracking ENPPI midfielder Samir Sabri, according to Moselhi. Taha Basri's men will be looking to improve on last season's tenth-place finish in the Egyptian League.
