Telecom Egypt defender Wael Al-Qabani played down claims that he reached an agreement with Petrojet officials over a summer move. “I have many offers but I don't like to talk about them as I am still a Telecom Egypt player,” Al-Qabani told FilGoal.com. A source in Petrojet revealed that both sides agreed terms and that the former Zamalek sweeper has a release clause of EGP 450 000 and a relegation release clause. Telecom Egypt are 12th of the 16-team table with 23 points and are just one point above the danger zone. Al-Qabani, 32, joined Telecom Egypt on a free transfer last summer and signed a three-year deal worth EGP 3 million. Meanwhile Hussein Ali refused to ink a new deal with Petrojet asking for an EGP 850 000 yearly salary.
