Ahli defender Rami Adel has been ruled out for 10 days with a thigh injury after picking a knock against Zamalek last Friday. "Adel suffers from a bruised thigh and he'll have to rest for ten days," Ahli's doctor Ehab Ali was quoted saying on the club's website. The Red Devils suffer from a huge crisis in defense as Ahmed Al-Sayed needs time to regain his technical and physical form and Shadi Mohamed is still struggling with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile manager Manuel Jose will have a short vacation in Portugal as Eritrean side Al-Tahir pulled out of this week-end's tie in the CAF Champions League, allowing Ahli to go through to the third round. The local competition will be halted until the end of the month as Egypt have a friendly game against Argentina on March 26. The Red Devils will warm up against Aluminium on March 25 before facing Tersana, five days later, in the Egyptian Premier League.
