Zamalek coach Ruud Krol excluded midfield duo Alaa Abdul-Ghani and Magdi Attwa from his side's 18-man squad for the Cairo derby against Ahli on Friday. The Dutch tactician did not reveal the reasons for omitting both players. Attwa's exclusion is surprising given that he played the entire 90 minutes of Zamalek's 1-0 victory over ENPPI in the Egyptian League on Monday. Regular striker Abdul-Halim Ali has been also left out after failing to recover from injury in time. Defender Amr Al-Safti and right-back Ahmed Ghanem will miss the game through suspension while Wissem El-Abdi won't participate due to injury.
