Inter Milan celebrated their centenary with a 2-0 home victory over struggling side Reggina in the Serie A on Saturday. Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring in the 14th minute from the spot after Esteban Cambiasso was brought down by Carlos Valdez. Defender Nicolas Burdisso doubled the lead in the 34th minute after heading home Luis Jimenez's free kick. Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar pulled off a string of impressive saves to make sure the Nerazzurri remained superior. Inter, who were handed their first league defeat at the hands of Napoli last week, are on top of the table with 64 points, nine ahead of second-placed Roma. Roma can reduce the deficit to six points if they beat Napoli away from home on Sunday.
