Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini was overjoyed to see his side beat Club World Cup champions AC Milan 2-1 on Sunday. The Nerazzurri came from a goal down, after Andrea Pirlo's magnificent free kick, to round off a morale-boosting derby win and maintain a 17-match unbeaten Serie A run. "We beat the world champions and this makes the victory even sweeter," said Mancini. "I'm pleased because the boys did very well. They played an excellent game, it can be harder when you go a goal down but we know our strength and the boys continued playing and got the result. "They took the lead from their only shot in the first half, but Pirlo's free kick was extraordinary." Individual Incidents
Dida should have done better for Ancelotti At the other end, Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti believes his team played a fine game as well, but were down to 'individual incidents'. Ancelotti thinks that the Rossneri were deprived a point as he blamed the referee for ruling out a second-half penalty after Kaka was fouled by Inter's Esteban Cambiasso. The Milan boss also admitted that Cambiasso's winning goal should have been dealt with better by goalkeeper Dida. "It was a very balanced encounter that was decided by some individual incidents," he said. "We were more than equal to Inter and are missing a point here, as the draw would have been the right result. "There was definitely a penalty on Kaka and in the second half we created many scoring opportunities. "Admittedly, we did our part with a lot of mistakes, especially on Cambiasso's shot that did not seem irresistible."
