Petrojet's in-form striker Alaa Ibrahim has been called-up to Egypt's squad for the Pan Arab Games on home soil after Ismaili frontman Mohamed Fadl was excluded due to injury. Hassan Shehata surprisingly announced his 25-man squad on Tuesday without the inclusion of Egyptian League top scorer Ibrahim. However, the former Ahli striker will now have the chance to prove his worth on the international level after Fadl sustained a groin injury that will sideline him for a month. Ibrahim has impressed in the Egyptian League so far, netting 10 goals in eight appearances to help surprise package Petrojet occupy the competition's summit. The Pan Arab Games will kick off on Sunday.
