Zamalek target Mohamed Abdullah had a late meeting with club officials on Monday, to negotiate a possible move in January. The Whites approached Abdullah, who plays for Konyaspor, last week and the 26-year-old did not close the door for a return to Egypt in the winter break. "I met with officials from Zamalek on Monday," Abdullah told FilGoal.com. "I appreciate their interest and I will consider the move, but nothing has been finalized yet. "My primary option is to stay in Europe, but if it did not work for me in Turkey I think that Zamalek could be my next destination." The former Ahli midfielder rejected Zamalek this summer as he insisted that he had no intentions of leaving Europe for a return to Egypt. However, Konyaspor's dismal start to the season, lying third from bottom after six games, forced the 26-year-old to reconsider his options.
