Holland's Wesley Sneijder could be sidelined against Albania in Euro 2008 qualifiers on Wednesday and Real Madrid's game against Almeria in the Spanish League at the weekend due to injury. The Real Madrid midfielder collided with teammate Mario Melchiot in Holland's training, collecting an ankle injury, according to reports in Spanish media on Tuesday. The injury is bad news for Real manager Bernd Schuster, who has been happy to see Sneijder adjusting quickly to the atmosphere at La Liga. Sneijder has been on fire since joining the Spanish champions three weeks ago, scoring four goals in three games for both club and country. The former Ajax man scored the opener in Holland's 2-0 win over Bulgaria on Saturday, as Marco Van Basten's team are three points off leaders Romania in Group G.
