Abou-Treika fit for ASEC clash

Mohamed Abou-Treika has been declared fit to participate in Ahli's crucial CAF Champions League clash against Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas on Sunday after recovering from an ankle injury.
The classy playmaker has been initially ruled out for one month after spraining his ankle in Ahli's 3-0 defeat to Sudanese giants Hilal on August 19th.
However, he has fully recovered earlier than expected and took part in Ahli's training session on Wednesday.
The news will come as a boost to Ahli coach Manuel Jose, who has been annoyed by the absence of Abou-Treika.
Defending champions Ahli, who are looking for an unprecedented third successive title, need just a draw against ASEC to secure their place in the competition's semis.
They will be dumped out of the tournament in case they suffer a home defeat against ASEC, whose victory will lift them to the semis along with Hilal.
