Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski has been declared fit to take part in Bayern Munich's Bundesliga match against Hamburg on Sunday after recovering from a knee injury. Podolski, who was voted best young player at the 2006 World Cup, has not played a competitive match since last April after picking up a knee injury. The 22-year-old participated in a friendly against Grasshoppers Zurich on Tuesday and could start the Hamburg game instead of the injured Luca Toni. The Bavarian giants have received another boost with the news that French defender Valerien Ismael has recovered from a broken leg that ruled him out of action for almost a year. Bayern have won their first three matches in the Bundesliga and are yet to concede a goal.
