Goalkeeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef wants Zamalek to clarify his future before deciding on his next destination, revealing that Italy's Lazio are interested in his services. "Zamalek board told me before that I may leave in case the club receive an offer worth at least $150, 000," Abdul-Monsef told FilGoal.com on Monday. "Lazio have already accepted to table that bid but Zamalek then made a U-turn on their previous statement and told me they have no intention to let me depart." "They also said that if they decided to release me they would demand a much better offer in terms of finance," he added. The 30-year-old said he doesn't mind staying at Zamalek but only if he was offered a two-year contract extension. "I hope my future will be sorted out as soon as possible because Lazio will begin their pre-season preparations on June 26th." Abdul-Monsef is wondering about the news linking Zamalek with moves to Tersana keeper Ahmed Saad and Ghazl Mahalla guardian Ibrahim Farag for EGP four million. "There is no keeper in Egypt deserves this money. I have been playing in Zamalek for nine years and haven't received one fourth this amount," he concluded.
