Moetazbellah Mohamed 'Eno' admitted he signed a new deal to join Ahli next season, while his current club Zamalek revealed that they will lodge an official complaint to the Egyptian Football Association. Speaking to Dream TV on Tuesday, Eno said he signed a deal with Ahli three days ago but refused to reveal the length of the contract or the fee he is set to earn. However, Zamalek accused their arch-rivals of breaching FIFA rules regarding the players' transfers and vowed to take the matter to the EFA. "Eno admitted during Zamalek's internal investigations that Ahli opened talks with him in December 11th in contradiction to FIFA rules which prohibit clubs of making an approach to any player before the remaining six months of his contact," Zamalek board member Ahmed Hafez said. "This means that Eno should be suspended for four months and Ahli must be blocked from signing new players for two registration periods." Hafez hit out at Eno's behavior, claiming that the 23-year-old midfielder's limited appearances throughout this season is down to the fake excuses he submitted. "When he said that he has suffered an injury, we told him to undergo a medical examination with the club's doctor but he refused." Eno, a Zamalek youth academy product, denied all the accusations and insisted he was fully committed to Zamalek. "I did my best while playing with Zamalek but now I'm looking forward to a new challenge with Ahli." "My negotiations with Ahli were through the legal channels, I haven't held any talks with them before the last six months of my contract," he added.
