Egyptian Football Association (EFA) president Samir Zaher said that the identity of the next Egypt-20 manager won't be decided in the next board meeting on Thursday. Zaher hinted that July could be an appropriate date to decide on the matter, preferring to hold the situation until the end of next summer's World Cup in Canada. "We are not in a hurry regarding the youth team coach, we shall wait until the 2007 World Cup ends as it is possible we could choose a manager from the teams participating in the tournament," Zaher told Filgoal.com on Tuesday. Zaher revealed that the EFA members insist on hiring a foreign manager for the job despite Portugeuse manager Eduardo Vingada's recent failure with the Olympic team. "Board members almost agreed that it is more likely to hire a foreign manager for the position, we could also send scouts to Canada in the summer to watch managers and target a possible candidate to lead our team in 2009." Zaher said that the speculation concerning the organizing committee of the 2009 tournament on home soil should be put to an end with the next meeting. "Members of the tournament's organizing committee should be selected with a joint agreement between the committee's president Hani Abou-Rida and the Egyptian council of sports president Hassan Sakr."
