Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham has warned Cristiano Ronaldo not to sign for Real Madrid in the summer and to stay at Manchester United. "Maybe he has said he'd like to play for Real Madrid at some stage - but he's a Manchester United player and the way he's playing, they're going to want him to stay there," Beckham is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. Ronaldo has been linked with many clubs specially Spanish Giants Barcelona and Real Madrid but obviously the latter are desperate to get him and have announced a huge budget, up to $80 million, to get the Portuguese superstar. But the former England captain and Manchester united number 7 believes such a move wouldn't be a wise action for the 21-year-old. "I think that he's had a great player. He's had an exceptional season. But he's a young player and he is at the right club at the moment - because he's being looked after by a manager who knows exactly how to look after someone who's been through what he has. "I always said I might not have got through many of the things I did without the United manager, the players there and the fans." Beckham moved from Manchester to Real Madrid in 2003 after spending 10 years at Old Trafford. He had to leave after several troubles with manager Alex Ferguson and now, he's on the move to Los Angeles Galaxy after failing to fit in Fabio Capello's formation.
