AC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has insisted that Carlo Ancelotti's future at the club is correspondent to the results he achieves with the Rossoneri. Ancelotti claimed on Sunday that he is looking forward to extend his six-year reign at the San Siro to a longer period similar to that of Alex Ferguson with Manchester United. However, Galliani concluded another point of view regarding the Milan hot seat which is linked with the likes of Marco Van Basten and Frank Rijkaard. "We have always felt a deep affection for Ancelotti, since he was one of our players," Galliani told Sky Italia. "However, it is logical and evident that the confirmation of any Coach depends on the results he achieves, it has always been this way." The Rossoneri's hope this season were limited to the Champions League so far after their nine-point Serie A penalty have shattered their Scudetto dreams, as well as suffering a semi-final exit from Coppa Italia. Milan will take on German champions Bayern Munich in the quarter finals of the competition next month.
