Samuel Eto'o scored twice to help Barcelona crush Recreativo Huelva 4-0 away from home on Saturday and go three points clear on top of the Primera Liga table. Barcelona are in charge of the league table with 53 points, three ahead of second-placed Sevilla who play Celta Vigo later on Sunday. Cameroonian international Eto'o put the visitors ahead after just three minutes when he swerved a long-range shot that deceived the keeper and went into the back of the net. Italian full-back Gianluca Zambrotta doubled the lead five minutes before the break when he dinked the ball over the keeper to finish off a series of brilliant passes involving Deco, Ronaldinho and Eto'o. Eto'o added the third just before the interval after he superbly volleyed home Sylvinho's cross at the far post. Argentinean prodigy Lionel Messi, who scored a hat-trick against Real Madrid last week, completed the rout in the 86th minute when he stole the ball from a defender and raced across the penalty area before hitting a low drive into the bottom corner of the net. Earlier on Saturday, Valencia's title hopes suffered a blow following a 2-0 home defeat to Racing Santander. The result left Valencia in third place with 47 points while Racing lie eighth on 40 points.
