Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' ended a three-month goal-drought when he scored on Saturday to help Tottenham Hotspur beat Championship side Southend 3-1 and advance to the FA Cup fifth round. Irish striker Robbie Keane put the Spurs ahead after 12 minutes when he received Didier Zokora's pass before hitting a low shot that took a slight deflection off the keeper and went into the net. Jermaine Jenas extended the lead five minutes after re-start when he volleyed home from close-range after being set-up by Aaron Lennon. Freddy Eastwood pulled one back in the 69th minute from the penalty spot but Mido's goal seven minutes later ensured Tottenham's win. Pacey winger Lennon provided a low cross to Mido who poked home to score his first goal since scoring against West Ham in October.
