Ismaili have decided to close talks with ASEC Mimosas' Didier Ya Konan after other Egyptian and European joined the race for the international midfielder, the club said. Board member Nabil Al-Boushi told FilGoal.com that the price tag put over Ya Konan's contract is getting too high as Ahli and Zamalek are bidding to sign the player. He also said that Egyptian clubs should not compete for the same player because this makes the prices too high to afford. Ya Konan has been the target of Ahli and Zamalek after scoring eight times in the African Champions League including a brace against the defending champions at home. Reports said that he has reached a preliminary deal to sign for Zamalek in January if he didn't receive a suitable European offer.
