Andrei Shevchenko has denied any interest in returning to AC Milan, and has affirmed his happiness at Chelsea, Sky Sports reported on Tuesday. Shevchenko, who moved to Chelsea earlier this summer, has yet to find his form with the English side but remains positive about his place at Stamford Bridge. "I do not regret my move to England and I am glad I chose London," Shevchenko said. "I am very happy here." Milan have struggled after the trophy-winning forward left the team and Italian media have said that the Serie A side should try to win back their former star. Milan's decision-makers have not commented on media reports, and Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has had nothing but praise for Shevchenko, who has only scored once since the 30 million pound transfer. "He is just lacking goals," the Portuguese coach said as reported by Calcio Italia.
Didier Drogba "He is improving physically and I appreciated the work he put in for the team when he was without the ball," Mourinho added. Despite his struggles, Shevchenko insists he is happier with the English side. "There is no chance of me returning to Milan," he insisted. "I chose Chelsea and I will continue on this path. Nothing can change my choice. Life goes beyond football. "I feel more free here (London) than in Italy. The life of a footballer in London is more simple, football is a show that finishes once the game is over." Though Shevchenko is struggling to make his mark, teammate Didier Drogba has excelled, and the Ukrainian insists it is just a matter of time before he impresses as well. "Drogba is living a fortunate moment, but I am sure that things will change and my time will come," he said. "Players go through difficult times and it happens to everyone. But I feel young and full of energy."
