La site officiel du club d'Ahli a annoncé le samedi que son défenseur Ahmed Al-Sayed s'absentera pour une période d'au mois trois mois. En effet les tests ont montré qu'Al-Sayed souffre d'une coupure au ligament du muscle et qu'il aura besoin d'une intervention chirurgicale. Le défenseur des rouges devra aller en Allemagne dans les quelques jours à venir pour subir l'opération. Al-Sayed est ainsi la quatrième longue absence des rouges après celles de Mohamed Barakat, Mohamed Abou Tréka et Emad Al-Nahas.
