Brazil manager Carlos Alberto Parreira said that his team's win over Ghana in the World Cup last 16 wasn't an easy tie for his team despite the final score-line. Brazil reached the final eight after beating Ghana 3-0 in the second-round game that was played in Dortmund on Tuesday but the Brazilian coach paid a lot of credit to the Black Stars. "We won the game, but the result doesn't show it wasn't an easy game at all, Ghana did very well in the first half, they had chances and should have scored." Parreira said after the game. After facing below-par teams in the first stage, Brazil cruised their way to the quarter finals without any difficulty, however with either France or Spain waiting for them in the quarter final, Parreira is wary that the hardest work is yet to come for his team. "The big guys are coming to the quarter finals, it's getting closer and closer, it's getting tougher and tougher," the former World Cup winner added. Meanwhile, Ronaldo made history by breaking Germany's Gerd Muller all-time top-scorer record after scoring Brazil's first goal against Ghana and his 15th goal of the world cup. "I'm very happy with the win and with breaking the record, the record stood for seven world cups and I'm so pleased to break it," Ronaldo said. Following his mediocre performances in Brazil's first two games, Ronaldo was under heavy criticism but after bouncing back with three goals in his last two games the Real Madrid striker was more than happy to gain confidence. "I'm out to show what I can still do, we win as a team and I get goals, now I'm looking for more and more and more." On the other hand, Ghana coach Ratomir Dujkovic said that despite the elimination, he was satisfied with the way his players performed. "I'm very proud of my players, they fought from the first minute of the first match till the last minute today," Dujkovic told a press conference. The Serbian tactician added that he was happy to see his players fight against the strongest team in the tournament. "They are a fantastic team and if you give them the fraction of a second they'll finish you, they are the best in the competition, the world champions and it's not a shame to lose against them," Dujkovic said. Dujkovic was sent off the bench at half-time after he protested against Brazil's second goal and after the game the coach wasn't happy with the Slovakian referee. "I said it'd be better for us if he put on a yellow jersey."
