Thierry Henry is hopeful that Arsenal's last European game at Highbury will be a memorable one, Sky Sports reported on Tuesday. "There are so many memories there (Highbury)," Henry told reporters. "Obviously the last game in Europe at Highbury is going to be amazing." Arsenal, who will be leaving Highbury by the end of this season and moving to the new Emirates stadium, will host Spanish side Villarreal in the first-leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday night. "I think the game against Juventus and the game against Real Madrid were really great atmosphere. "I just hope it can be the same. I know it is going to be special as it is the last game I just hope we can perform on that game at Highbury," he added. Highbury has been Arsenal's home ground since 1913. '' I know they are going to build some flats or something, but it will be great to go there and just sit,'' said Henry. "You see my record, my goal scoring record, I scored a lot of goals at Highbury and there is something special about it."
With World Cup and European Cup medals to his record, Henry said that after many domestic league and cup wins with Arsenal the only major silverware missing in his cabinet is that of the Champions League. "Since the beginning I wanted to win the competition and obviously it's a fact that's the big thing missing on my CV and obviously on Arsenal's CV," the Frenchman said. When asked about Wednesday's clash against Villarreal, Henry said: ''They are a good team, play good football and if you let them play they can really hurt you." "They base their game on being tight together, after making sure, they can hit you on the break." The 28-year-old striker dished out praise for Villarreal playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme. ''With a guy like Riquelme it's difficult to talk about man marking him, we don't do that anyway. "What we need to do is defend well as a team, and as soon as we can, go and attack," said Henry.
