Arsenal striker Thierry Henry said it would be a very special night when former team mate and current Juventus midfielder Patrick Vieira makes a comeback to Highbury for their UEFA Champions League face-off on Tuesday. "It will be special for him (Vieira) when he steps out on to the pitch," Henry told British daily The Sun on Saturday. "The whole crowd will be singing his song. Make no mistake, Patrick still loves Arsenal, so it will be a strange night for him. "Ask Patrick and myself to name our favourite Premiership football ground and, for obvious reasons, it will be Highbury." Vieira made a move to the Italian powerhouse last season after a whopping nine years at Highbury, some of them as Arsenal skipper. The French interntaional, though, was forced to make a comeback as quickly as he never expected when the Chmapions League draw paired the two sides in the qurter-finals, with the first-leg staged in Highbury.
Vieira "I spoke to him straight after the quarter final draw and he just said, 'Why did it have to be Arsenal? I replied, 'Sometimes, that's how it is. Fate'," Henry said. Henry, who also played for Juventus, made it clear that despite Arsenal's below-par domestic campaign, they managed to do well on the European level. "There is no point kidding ourselves. This has not been an easy season for any of us at Arsenal. "So all things considered, in particular a nightmare run of injuries to key players, it is a brilliant achievement to be in the last eight of the Champions League and still have a chance of qualifying for next year's tournament," Henry said. Arsenal are the only Premiership club to remain in the UEFA Champions League.
