L'attaquant égyptien Mohamed Zidan a mené son équipe Mayence à une importante victoire hors de son sol 2-1 contre l'équipe de Bayern Munich le samedi dans le cadre de la 26ème journée du championnat allemand. La vedette égyptienne a été auteur des deux buts marqués par son équipe (34 et 64) contre une seul but de consolation pour les hôtes marqué par Paul Freier (85). Par ce résultat Mayence grimpe à la 14ème place du classement avec 27 points et s'éloigne un peu de la zone de relégation.
