Zamalek a réalisé une nouvelle brillante victoire en championnat, sous les commandes de son nouveau directeur technique Manuel Cajuda, en battant Esmant Suez sur le score sans appel de 4-1, le jeudi, à l'occasion de la 15ème journée du championnat national. Abdel Halim Ali a été auteur d'un excellent triplé (13, 18, 80) en plus d'un but de Youssef Hamdi (53) qui marque ainsi son premier but officiel avec le maillot blanc. Tandis qu'Adel Moustapha a marqué le but de consolation de son équipe à la 69ème minute du match. Par cette victoire Zamalek demeure toujours à la deuxième place avec 32 points à une seule longueur derrière Ahli qui a encore 4 matchs à jouer. D'un autre côté Ismaili a aussi dominé Masri sur le score de 2-1 à Port Saïd. L'attaquant de Masri, Mohamed Fadl, a ouvert le score à la 56ème minute mais les visiteurs ont pu remonter le score par les buts d'Ahmed Al-Gamal (60pen) et Abdallah Al-Chahat (86). Par cette victoire Ismaïli grimpe à la 6ème place avec 19 points tandis que Masri et avant dernier avec 13 points seulement.
