La sélection du Togo est entrée en stage de préparation dans la ville tunisienne de Sousse en prévision à la Coupe d'Afrique des Nations qui aura lieu dans la période du 20 janvier au 10 février prochain. La Fédération togolaise a annoncé sur son site officiel que 39 joueurs sont entrés en regroupement à Sousse et y demeureront jusqu'au 6 janvier avant d'aller en France pour jouer deux matchs amicaux contre la Guinée et le Zimbabwe le 7 et 10 janvier respectivement. Il est à noter que le Togo évolué dans le groupe C de la CAN aux côtés du Cameroun RD Congo et l'Angola.
